This sprawling action adventure platformer has beautifully drawn sprites and backgrounds, fanstasic music, plenty of enemy types, weapons and secrets to find, it has it all. Accessing inventory items through multiple menus can be tedious, the map could use labels for areas, and the second half can drag on, though it's hard to complain since there's just more to play. If you were like me and overlooked this game around the time of its release because it was a 2D game in the brand new 3D craze, you owe it to yourself to try this one out.
