Final Fight 3 introduces sprinting, two combos for each character and special attacks, making the combat more engaging than its predecessors. Since it was released quite late into the lifespan of the Super NES you would think they would go all out with this one, but the gameplay hasn't improved all that much. Enemy variety is lacking and none of the stages really stand out in my mind when thinking back on my playthrough. Beating up enemies is still satisfying as hell, just don't expect to be amazed by this one. If there's any reason to play this game, it's for the amazing soundtrack, as expected from Capcom.
